Institute for Educational Leadership & Evaluation provides research, evaluation, and consulting services to non-profit and governmental agencies interested in improving their organization or agency. Using proven and appropriate methodologies, the research and evaluation components are systematic ways to learn how well programs or projects are achieving their mission, goals, and objectives. The consulting component of the IELE supports organizations in applying best practices, evaluation results, and research in making decisions for the improvement of an organization, agency, or institution. The IELE is composed of an expert team that has over 25 years of experience and credentials in all the services it provides.
- Evaluative Research
Evaluative research seeks to provide objective study of present and proposed programs or activities using logic modeling, theoretical frameworks, data collection techniques that include instrumentation design, statistical analysis, qualitative analysis, and reporting of findings.
- Types of Evaluation
The types of evaluation include implementation studies, process evaluation, impact evaluation, needs assessments, monitoring studies, cost-benefit studies, and audits.
- Consultation
Consultation involves training in using data and information collecting internally or externally for decision making and assessment purposes. It includes the development of evaluation plans, logic model design, data collection protocols, interpretation of evaluation and research reports, and application of evidence for program improvement.
- Institutional Review Board
The Institutional Review Board (IRB 2706) is an independent committee of experts that reviews nonexempt research involving human subjects conducted or supported by the federal government or an organization that has adopted the federal policy. It also reviews and approves nonexempt human subject research and evaluation studies covered by Assurance of Compliance.
