Nonprofit Networker:
The purpose of the Nonprofit Networker is to establish a mechanism for professional growth and networking for managers, board members, staff and volunteers of nonprofit organizations. The Nonprofit Networker meetings occur one time per quarter for 1 ½ - 2 hours.

- Training Resources Booklet - : The Chiesman Foundation has partnered with many individuals and organizations over the past five years to improve the capacity of nonprofits. This resource directory is a compilation of trainers we have utilized, and is intended to serve as an ever-growing reserve to continue building nonprofit capacity in five areas: Leadership development, Organizational development, Program development, Collaboration and community engagement, and Evaluation of effectiveness.

- Work smarter. - The South Dakota Nonprofit Association serves nonprofit organizations throughout the state with a variety of specialized educational programs in seven focus areas vital to the running a successful nonprofit. Here is a sampling of the topics in each of the focus areas that can be tailored to a variety of delivery settings ranging from 60---90 minute presentations to weekend---long retreats. Programs can be mixed---and---matched and tailored for beginners to seasoned professionals.

- Black Hills Community Needs Assessment - A consortium of local organizations in the Black Hills commissioned the South Dakota Public Policy Institute, a project of the Chiesman Center for Democracy, to conduct a Community Needs Assessment study in the Black Hills area. Areas included in this assessment are Butte County, Lawrence County, Meade County, Fall River County, Custer County and Pennington County.
- South Dakota Nonprofit Association - The South Dakota Nonprofit Association is a membership organization working to strengthen our state's nonprofit sector by providing member organizations with the tools needed to carry out their missions.
- Give Back South Dakota - Give Back is a volunteer network that encourages people to volunteer, informs them how to get started and has teams across South Dakota that perform by volunteering in their community.
- Helpline Center - The HELP!Line Center mission is to "strengthen individuals, families, and community by bridging people with resources and support."
